It was a truly delicious day; that kind of turquoise blue sky and little breeze. The sun was wonderful, bordering upon warm, on my face. Perfect. Well, as perfect as it can get without getting boring.
We trekked to some ruins in the seductive sunlight. My vest has been my top layer for the last three days. It began to feel almost hot out.
No, it's not shorts and sandals weather...yet. However, we uncovered the grill and had steak and roasted peppers. Beer and wine chilled in the snowbank but a few feet away.
This is how we roll...
And a great way to roll, for sure... ;D
ReplyDeleteAnd then a documentary on Islamic punk rock, ...it was grand :).
DeleteSounds wonderful. Someday, I'm going to learn how to relax just like you.
ReplyDeleteI guess I don't think of it as relaxing as much as just living ;).
DeleteIt's getting to be that time of year...but I will miss winter and all the beautiful snow.
ReplyDeleteI love and hate this time of year; warmer and still snow, but the mud makes everything so sloppy.
DeleteIn Alaska they call this time of year 'breakup' instead of Spring. Here in MT yesterday was warm, nearly got to 50. This morning it's snowing again. I should have grilled yesterday too.
ReplyDeleteHere in the mountains, we commonly call this mud. We'll be getting you snow tomorrow.
DeleteOh, you make me drool....
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely. Getting on the time of year to make sure the propane cylinder is full. Although, will all the snow, come runoff, I think I'll be making gumbo, for we shall be down on the bayou.
DeleteThanks for sharing us. Buying gas grills
